Described as “a delicious dark comedy”, the film stars Mendes as high school students Drea and Hawke as Eleanor.

Drea is your typical school mean girl who ends up dealing with a drama after her sex tape gets leaked. As for Hawke’s character, Eleanor is a social outcast who transfers to Drea’s school and faces rumors that she may have sexually assaulted a girl before. The pair form an unlikely friendship and decide to team up in order to get revenge on those who did them wrong.

Netflix also posted a series of images to Twitter of the supporting cast for the movie, which includes an angry looking Sophie Turner and Euphoria‘s Austin Abrams. The twosome will co-star with Ava Capri, Talia Ryder, Jonathan Daviss, Maia Reficco, Paris Berelc and Alisha Boe.

Do Revenge writer and director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson recently opened up to She about the impressive cast.

“We joke that they are like the young Hollywood Avengers,” she said. “And because of that, the cast gave themselves their own nickname. They call themselves ‘The Revengers,’ which we love.

“But they weren’t just cast because they’re ‘teen royalty’, they just are all really talented. And they were the best people for these parts.”

Do Revenge will stream on Netflix on September 16.
