First trailer for Game of Thrones star’s new movie

Dracula‘s classic tale by Bram Stoker inspires a brand new romance turned horror for The Invitationand now we have our first look at how the terrifying series of events unfold.

The film follows Evie, played by Game Of Thrones’ Nathalie Emmanuel, and the unintended consequences of her search for belonging. After the demise of her mom and having no other known family members, she takes a DNA test… and comes across a long-lost British relative she never knew she had.

Her newlyfound and rich family request her company at a luxurious wedding ceremony in a rural area of ​​England.

At the start, she’s seduced by the attractive aristocrat host, a family friend, but is soon forced into a terrifying nightmare of survival as she exposes her family’s evil secrets and the unsettling hidden purpose behind their indulgent lifestyle.

gossip girl‘s Thomas Doherty plays the seemingly charming, but ultimately deadly host Walter, while the cast also includes flea bag‘s Hugh Skinner, Sean Pertwee, Courtney Taylor, Mr Selfridge‘s Alana Boden and mr robot‘s Stephanie Corneliussen.

We don’t have long to wait for its release either as the film is due to land in UK cinemas next month – August 26 to be precise.
