The Great British Bake Off star Blake Harrison has left viewers shocked as he made his debut in the tent on Tuesday. The Inbetweener’s actor is part of line-up of celebs trying to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills.
The first episode saw Sutton Coldfield’s Emma Willis crowned star baker after consistently impressing Prue and Paul with her bakes. She even earned herself a famous Hollywood handshake.
Blake had viewers in stitches after creating a fondant Prue and Paul wrestling in his MMA-inspired bake. For the showstopper challenge, the bakers were tasked with making a choux pastry bake inspired by their hidden talents.
While fans were delighted to see Blake back on their screens, some were left shocked. Viewers took to social media and all said the same thing about Blake.
One fan wrote: “Did NOT recognize Neil Inbetweeners with gray hair and beard. #GBBO.”
Another fan tweeted: “An Inbetweener with a gray beard. That’ll make everyone feel old.”
And a third added: “Neil from the Inbetweeners has got a gray beard [mind blown emoji].”
Other fans commented that Blake was looking well saying: “Blake Harrison is looking very good with his curly gray Wayne Coyne style locks…”
Blake is best known for playing the role of Neil on the Inbetweeners from 2008-2010 and also in the two movies. Since the show ended, he has appeared in TV shows such as Way to Go, Him & Her, Big Bad World, The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff and Edge Of Heaven.
